- Effect of D-Cycloserine Plus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on People With Social Phobia.
Interventional study. This study will assess the effectiveness of D-cycloserine combined with cognitive-behavior therapy in treating people with social anxiety disorder. Ages 18 and over. Location in Boston, MA.

Interventional study. This study will evaluate the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the brain during emotional and behavioral responses to social stimuli in people with social phobia. Ages 21-55. Location in Stanford, CA.
- Improving Treatment Outcomes in Pharmacotherapy of Generalized Social Anxiety Disorder.
Interventional study. This study will compare the effectiveness of either adding clonazepam or placebo to standard treatment or switching to venlafaxine in treating generalized social anxiety disorder in individuals who have not responded to treatment with sertraline.
