    I carefully studied the study you mention, and blogged about it here. The lead author, Dr. Sofi was kind enough to leave a response:

    I believe the traditional Mediterranean diet indeed reduces the incidence of Alzheimers disease. Part of the benefit may be from fish consumption. I recommend eating fish twice weekly, preferably the cold-water fatty fish like albacore tuna, trout, or salmon.
